Love this product. The wood is lovely, well-finished and smooth. Everything shows thoughtful engineering, good materials and customer care. The extra strong packaging protected the bed from some severe knocks in shipping. A++ instructions! So easy. All parts were well-labelled with some extras included. All you need is the included allen wrench although a power tool speeds things up. I love the wooden pegs that helpfully position parts while you screw them together. The 12 slats are connected by velcro and span the entire width of the bed; no tedious screwing in half slats like other brands. The center support beam is solid wood with three legs with felt floor protectors already on them. No squeaks. A 60X80 inch queen mattress rests inside the frame fully on the slats and doesn't shift. Very functional. This will be easy to move some day.Added: Instead of attaching the headboard to the frame we screwed it to the wall. It's easy to rotate the mattress by rotating the frame.Our frame has been perfect but we added extra sturdiness to the long sides with 1" thick oak beams glued underneath the slats. You can't see them. No worries now about heavy guests.
