Everything is fine with one exception damage to the corner as noted in pictures. I don’t have the time to return. Needed it yesterday. But disappointed.I really wanted a nice, upholstered bedframe to go with my basic metal bedframe after having to get rid of a ruined platform bedframe that warped over time because I wanted a setup that had a soft finish, but a sturdy base. This product seemed like it would fit the look I wanted at a good price, BUT, it was an absolute nightmare to actually attach to the bedframe. What should have been an installation turned out to be what felt like a whole DIY event that lasted an entire evening because of how poorly designed the legs of this headboard are. The holes drilled into it do not offer any flexibility whatsoever. I am not sure if they were designed for specific frames sold here on Amazon or what, but I can tell you there was nothing particularly special about my frame's mounting pieces. I did eventually get the headboard attached but it is a little wobbly due to the poor design of the back and probably the fact that I had to attach it with the provided modification plates (as well as the fact that I think I needed to max out the height). The hardware and tools that come with this are also pretty low quality (in particular, all the screws are a little longer than they should be and they give you these little baby wrenches for securing the bolts that are an absolute joke). I found myself needing to break out my own tools and even hardware in order to get the job done.For what it's worth, Lucid's support team do a good job of at least pretending to care and even offer to give you advice if you send them pictures. I was one try away from doing this when I finally managed to get this thing attached so I can't speak to how helpful they would have been if I did send in photos. I also did appreciate that their support number goes to an actual phone, not an obnoxious IVR system. Unfortunately, I don't think that makes up for a subpar product design.Lastly, the packaging was not at all good. It's sort of impressive that this item didn't arrive damaged in any way because the box it came in was practically disintegrating when I brought it into my apartment.All in all, it does look nice as part of my bed set, which is the only reason I am not rating this at a 1. I just felt like it took way more effort than it had any right to and whenever I move or disassemble this for any reason, I think I will be swapping it out for something new since I really don't want to have to go through that installation process again. Do yourself a favor and just buy a nicer headboard would be my advice.I bought this item for my daughter using at dorm. The most important must be easy assemble. I read many reviews and found it the size is fit for her twin bed. The look is modern. For sturdiness, she didn’t screw the headboard to her bed frame. The headboard lean on the wall and make sure no space between her bed frame and headboard so that the headboard will not fall down. My daughter only use 15 mins to assemble.Decent price. We hung it on the wall. Looks good.Great looking headboardDelivered by Post Office. Poor packaging, did not hold up to shipping. Barely any protection around the headboard. Headboard was exposed and soiled on one side.I would give the quality of the headboard a 7 out of 10. The corners of the headboard could have used more stuffing material. You will need to drill a support hole in each leg if you want a solid hold to your bed frame.I do like the look of the headboard ....gives a little glamour to the room.This modern, four channel headboard took two tries for us. The first arrived damaged in a tattered box during a major winter event. Return pickup was scheduled at our door, simple and convenient, thank you! The second headboard arrived pristine. Installation was easy. We attached it to our split king frames (two twin XLs). We have a chair rail so we added 1” diameter felt pads to the wall-facing (back) corners to keep it secure against the wall. It’s taller than it looks on the images so we lowered it slightly using a lower screw hole mount. This assures you can’t see the bottom of the headboard, a win win! Our first furniture purchase here on Amazon. So glad we took the chance on this one, it looks high end, we’re 100% happy!It is classy, sturdy and well made with adjustable height. It even had a hidden pocket for all the spare parts for all different types of installations. Well packaged. Excellent purchase.I really like this headboard. Good quality. Unfortunately it did not come with instructions and comes with an insane amount of hardware. I really wish they just sent an instruction manual because it took way to long to figure it out. It was not in the back of the headboard.It's awesome I mounted it to the wall which gave me the height I wanted came with brackets for wall mounting also with legs which can be left in headboard pocket on back of headboard,Doesn't give instructions but it's not rocket science. Overall I'd say it was "Easy To Assemble" 8.5/10
