The only thing negative I have to say is that some of the futon slats do fall out on the bottom. Half just rest inside the other tube without screws, I may have to secure them better. I had to fix after the bottom was used. The ladder is a little hard to navigate for my 8year old at night, so I added another bed bunk ladder that hooks to the side that works better instead of the footOverall good construction on this bunk bed. Assembly was a bit tricky, but no major problems encountered when putting this together. All the pieces fit fairly well and nothing was damage. My son was super excited once this was put together and it seems to be working well so far. Would definitely recommend if you are in the market for a good bunk bed without breaking the budget.I Like how it is modern easy to set up and gives you space in your room but you might want to put 2 Mattresses or you will feel the metal barsNot as sturdy as I would like, but is great for kids.This looks beautiful in our cabin and was easy for my husband and I to put together!Good fo the price I haven’t put it together but when I do I’ll give an update I’m sure it will be greatMy daughter’s love their new bed thank you
