I bought this to accommodate a memory foam mattress purchased from Amazon on Black Friday. I selected this particular platform frame because the mattress' return policy requires that slats are no further apart than three inches and I wanted to live up to the letter of the warranty in case the mattress was a dud and needed to be returned. Assembly was straightforward and only required one person. The frame came in a box which had no signs of damage although some of the metal parts were scuffed up as other reviews have commented. Not an issue for my usage with a dust ruffle. After sleeping on this for a month, I am very pleased and would buy again.
