Setting it up took up more space than I anticipated and even without checking the directions often it was an easy build. Would heavily recommend marking the numbers for the screws on the clear plastic because keeping everything organized for that was a bit tedious. He did use a drill though. During the building process we thought the two side rails were going to be tricky because they were a little bent. As in, they’d curve in and weren’t completely straight. But then we continued putting it together and they straightened out. The frame is sturdier than we thought. We put a 12 inch mattress on it. It reaches the head board perfectly. Between my boyfriend and I we weigh about 385 pounds and the frame does not squeak or anything. I hope it stays like this! I would 5/5 recommend this frame!The bed looks great. It isn’t the highest quality but at least middle range. It went together well. Love the dark grey fabric. Don’t have our new mattress yet but will let you know how it holds up.We got a queen for a guest room.
