The design was the reason I purchased this for my daughter and the fact that the frame was supposed to support 200+ lbs. Upon receipt this was absolutely a piece of garbage and I'll be suprised if it lasts 6 months. It shakes when she climbs up and she's 5'2, maybe 120lb. I'm going to reinforce the frame with 2x4s just so it's secure. The predrilled holes were also off centered for the entire bed frame, which made putting it together absolutely infuriating. I would definitely NOT recommend you purchase this item.
