Took a while to figure out the assembly base headboard height based on an existing box spring with mattress but figured it out and it looks amazing and low enough to not block our window view ?From the packaging on, this is an overall nice product for the price. I was impressed with the built in velcro pocket on the back that houses the legs, hardware, and basic tools needed to install this. It can be hung on the wall or stand on legs that attach to the bed frame, though most situations will probably need more then the one plate this comes with, but its reasonable for the seller not to include these since there are so many unknown varieties of frames.What I thought could be improved was that mine came with the wall brackets attached. They're crooked and use incorrect screws that stick up, so the brackets and screws are in the way if I don't want to use them, and they're crooked brackets if I did want to use them. Also, one of the leg slots in the headboard was missing a nut. Not a problem for my bed height, but it could have been if I needed max height. So quality control might be an issue, but overall this is a nice product and I like that it has the storage in back to saved unused hardware and tools in case bed frame is changed in the future.Not very tall but is good quality! Color is really nice blue -darkIt’s a nice headboard for a low price. I’m not huge on the buttons all over, but I think the border of this one makes it look more classy. I like the arched shape too. The color is appealing and it’s generally comfortable. Installation was slightly annoying but I think that might be the compatibility with my bed frame. It’s not super wobbly to me unless you shake the bed. One point deduction because the fabric had a weird smell like stale coffee, but some Febreeze made it all better.First, the hardware comes shipped in a handy little pocket on the back of the headboard that is enclosed with Velcro. When I tried to open the pouch, the Velcro came right off the headboard, the staples holding it on tore right through it. Inside I found the hardware and a desiccant pouch that was torn open from being beat around by the heavy hardware, so the beads fell out all over the floor and made a huge mess. I ordered a King size headboard and a standard King size bed frame. The mounting legs on this headboard are 1.5" too close together for a standard frame. Luckily, they send you some adapter brackets, but they didn't send the mounting bolts for the adapter, so off to the hardware store I went. Then I realized, if you have a box spring and a thick mattress, the legs for the headboard are too short, so back to the hardware store I went yet again. The headboard itself is pretty well made, but the mounting is TERRIBLE!!Overall I am happy with the purchase to use this head board in our guest room, but there is one minor issue.When connecting the legs of the head board to our existing queen bed frame, the width is about 1-2" short. The good news is they included an extension plate to secure to the existing bed frame. The bad news is they didn't include the bolts to secure the extension plate onto the existing bed frame. After going back and forth on the directions for about 15 mins, I decided to run to the local hardware store and spend the $5 on a few bolts. Once I secured the extension pieces on the bed frame, it came together pretty nicely.The bed frame also gives the option to lower or raise the headboard to different heights. I have a queen box frame and a queen pillow top mattress, so I needed to raise the height on the head board accordingly. No major issues with this, but it may be a little more wobbly the higher you extend it.Overall I would recommend the bed frame, but just be prepared to have to drive to the store to buy a few bolts.This headboard was very easy to assemble, though I was unable to attach it to the bed so it’s standing on the floor for now. This isn’t ideal as it gets moved around when I change the sheets and the metal bracket on the back has scratched the wall paint. I could fix both problems by attaching it to the wall but I am thinking of swapping out the frame for a sturdier one to which I should be able to attach the headboard.Anyway, I like the fabric and it looks great, and I love having a fabric headboard again after a few years with a wrought iron frame.The color and fabric were nice, but the legs were 2 inches wide and only a half inch deep and made of poor quality particle board, nicely covered in a velvet-like material. The holes in the legs for attaching to the bed frame did not match up with my frame, and so I could not attach it without drilling more holes in the already-multi-holed legs.If you don't mind the weak legs, which should be fine once installed against the wall, and if it lines up with your frame, the look of this headboard was very nice.This is very nice looking headboard. It has Very short legs. Had to buy longer pice of wood to make new longer legs. It is a two person job. Still very wobbly. I like the fact that it had brackets to secure it to the wall.It came timely. It was bit bashed up in packing but it was at the back of it.It ended up being more expensive with the wood and the drill bit....and then to add an insult to an injury..it went on sale day after I received it. Well, it is better then driving around looking for it, carrying it and so on. It was not completely painless but it will do for the guest room..would I buy it again?...MaybeExactly what I was expecting. Color is a bit blueish, but looks great. Comes with everything you need to install.I have a basic bed frame from Wayfair, which doesn’t have anything to add a headboard to besides two holes in the metal rods. This came with two metal plates I could screw on the frame to make it sturdier, which was a big plus. I didn’t need to use the hardware to fix it to the wall. I used felt pads on the metal parts that touches the wall to prevent the paint from scratching and any banging. It is a bit difficult to install, definitely a 2-man job.I was a bit concerned about smell, as several people mentioned a strong plastic/chemical smell in similar products’ reviews. This one does have a particular smell, but it’s closer to cheap chocolate, like Kinder surprise eggs; not unappealing at all, but a bit strange. After two months, smell is still there.I recommend, but might induce chocolate cravings.If this headboard wasn't so big I would have returned it. The legs are weak and shakey and don't line up with anything, not the platform bed or the bedframe. I only got the headboard to attach because I made an absolute mess in the back, basically just adding screws everywhere to keep it in place. The holes on each leg are set up differently than the other, again nothing matches and only worked because of all the extra attempts made to just make it work. The wall hinges were attached crooked and I had to remove because I'm renting and don't need to use them. It wouldn't have hung straight anyways. I also got something to put between the headboard and wall to further keep in place. After struggling with the headboard for a few days it finally is semi-sturdy and looks good, but it was too much of a frustrating hassle to get there to say it was worth it.As this is for a "full / full XL" version, I had issues adding the plate to make it even on both sides. I wouldn't order anything again with 2 sizes. Also, the top curved fabric is a little puckery into the back plate. Also, the "shale" colored fabric has a touch of blue to it, it's not a true natural gray. It's ok as it's for a guest room. Great for the price.Très belle qualité, solide et bien assemblé. Les pattes ont été facile à viser et elles sont enveloppées de tissu en velours. Il y a de petits boutons sous les pattes. Il y a tout l'équipement nécessaire pour la fixer au mur et les plaques en haut de la tête de lit sont déjà installé et il y en a deux autres pour le bas que l'on doit installé soi-même. L'effet de la couleur est un gris bleuté mais pas trop intense. Un peu pesante mais j'ai été capable de la manipulé toute seule. Me reste à la fixer au lit.
