With triple bunk bed set, I used one for each of the two lower, outside rails to keep the grandchildren from rolling off. Worked perfectly. The width was such that it didn’t dominate the twin mattress, with the height high enough to to be safe, and the shape and double grip (bottom and top) worked perfectly!! I’ve also used them in a queen bed for a single child and again, was confident in the safely and grip of the bumpers. Well worth the buy and appear very durable.
