I have purchased 3 of these. One for each crib mattress. They have been peed on multiple times, and i just throw them in the washer and they are as good as new. I have used the first one for over 3 years, washed it hundreds of times, and it is still soft, thick and absorbent.This really is waterproof! holds up well, our last one made it several years, like 8 or 10 before the backing finally started to break down. it is not hot to sleep on like the vinyl ones. we have our second elderly incontinent dog who often ends up on the bed. mattress is saved by this pad. good value. I dry it on medium, normal wash. I do not bleach it. easy to put on King bed, nice fit, doesn't bunch up.Our elderly cat has incontinence and this waterproof mattress protector prevented the mattress from being ruined.We have a heavy thick latex king mattress with a mattress topper on it and this protector covers it great. It’s easy to get on. We have been using it about 2 months now and it had its real first test. We decided to try out a fancy automatic litter box that our cats were pretty mad about. So they took their revenge by peeing on our bed. I was scared to take it off because I didn’t want to have to attempt to clean a mattress. But I took it off and there was no cat one that went through! Granted I think I found it less than an hour after it happened. Idk how it would hold up long term. But it worked! Our previous one worked but the smell would go through. But not this one. There was no liquid or smell underneath. I am currently drying it but it washed good. It is a thick protector and soft. We don’t feel hot sleeping with it either. Definitely recommend.I purchased this mattress protector because my cat has recently decided to pee where ever she wants.... This is my 4th protector because of this reason & honestly this is my favorite one so far. I've had it for about 2 months now and she's peed twice on it and both times I pulled it off to wash it & there hadent been any thing seep though. I'll be buying another one to switch off with.Apparently I am super picky about my mattress protectors... I cannot stand the quilted ones that bunch up and show indents on the mattresses. I bought these when we purchased a foam crib mattress just on a whim and I'm so glad I did!! I came back and bought another I liked it so much! It's very waterproof. Handles all of the spills and leaks and whatever we can throw at it. Breathes well. My baby was always a sweaty sleeper on his other quilted mattress pads but we've not had to do any middle of the night outfit changes since switching to these. They're a nice crisp white and look fresh even after many washings. The best part is they lay flat and stay flat!! I never have to tighten the sheets back down on the bed or do any sort of adjusting - they just lay flat. I was always worried before about the sheets and the mattress pad bunching up under babies nose after he started rolling over but these stay down on the mattress where they should and I honestly don't give it a second thought now! I will definitely be coming back to this brand!!I left a bottle of water on my bed and about an hour later I found it and it soaked through to my mattress.As a new mom I was skeptical about buying anything for my baby. I looked over sooo many products and reviews... I ended up purchasing 2 of these mattress covers for my baby. I’m so glad I went with these. My son has been sleeping in his crib for about a year now and these mattress covers are still in perfect condition! He never gets too hot from the cover being on his mattress and the mattress is 100% protected from any stains. I love these! I clean it in the washer & dryer no problem. I would buy atleast 2 so you can have a back up to use while washing the other one. Pro tip: put one mattress cover on then one sheet then another mattress cover and another sheet so when accidents happen you can literally peel one set off and the other set is already on the mattress ready to go!
