I took a few stars off because its a heavier blanket and isn’t particularly the softest of blankets, however it was 100% what I wanted and am in love with it. I like a heavier blanket that keeps me warm but doesn’t over heat. This blanket is breathable, hugs the body, but is also warm. I ordered the teal, and it is a bit greener in my bedroom light than I anticipated but still absolutely love the color. Fantastic blanket!The only thing I didn't like is that when I washed it, it shredded. Other than that it is just what I wanted.Nice blanket. It shrank some, but that was not surprising since it is 100% cotton. What was surprising was the amount of lint when I washed it. My washer was coated with so much lint that I had to run a Clean cycle. Then the dryer vent was also FULL. I kept it because is was the size & weight I was looking for.I really like the color and the weave of this blanket. My small dog gets up on the bed and her claws cause pulls in most blankets, but not this one. It’s a little heavier than I was expecting but still a good summer blanket. It isn’t as soft as I would like, but I’ve only washed it once and hopefully it will soften with repeated washings. I sized up since other reviewers said it would shrink. I did not notice any shrinkage but I like some drape so a king size fits exactly as I wanted on my new queen bed.Some people say its itchy. It is not to me. It is not supersoft it is like a hospital blanket if that helps! It was perfect for the summer! One tip I got from reviews they say it bleeds so I got white!I loved this sky blue cotton blanket. Perfect weight to use in all seasons. In the winter I will layer with a quilt. Washed and dryer beautifully.I just rec'd this. I ordered a king size and was glad I did. After I washed and dried it, it fits perfect on my queen size mattress. It hangs over a little bit on each side, perfect. Seems nice so far. Lots of fuzz in dryer but not a problem.I do love the blanket, wish it were 2 inches longer on the sides. But, it makes our bed feel so cozy! Reminds me of a hotel room!I noticed from first use a great deal of fibre shedding. When I washed the blanket hoping to stop shedding handfuls of fibre collected in my dryer, however there was still excessive shedding of fibres. The back of my quilted spread is still covered with pills of pale blue fibres. I send the blanket to a homeless shelter and purchased a new blanket from Costco. Not happy at all.The blanket is nice, and light weight. It is a dark teal colour. It did shrink a bit in the wash, even though it was washed in cold water and dried on extra low, but it still fits my king size bed with room to tuck in at the bottom.Oh boy do I LOVE this blanket! It is cotton and tightly woven, and it's actually rather heavy, which is exactly what I wanted. I washed it right away and it held its shape perfectly. It's nice and warm...just what we were looking for. I had purchased a cheaper quilt-type bedspread that was quite lightweight. We like a heavier weight quilt, so I layered this blanket under the lightweight quilt to add weight. It's absolutely perfect! I'm considering ordering another one!They arrived very quickly and ahead of the scheduled time (I ordered and Queen and King). The colour is a nice soft white. I got these 100% cotton blankets because I was waking up every morning around 4am very hot with the synthetic blankets (acrylic, polyester, fleece, polar fleece, microfibre etc) that don't breathe. These cotton blankets are definitely breathable because they are quite lightweight. I was expecting them to be somewhat heavier than they are. Now, instead of being too hot, I am finding I am too chilly. As I want to replace all my synthetic blankets, looks like I may be placing another order, lol. I washed before using and as other reviewers mentioned, there is a ton of lint so check your lint filter.I am usually cold so I want something warm and snuggly. I use this as a sheet rather than a blanket and it’s almost perfect. It replaces an older cotton flannel blanket that wore out. I was expecting it to be a bit thicker and heavier (like the old one) which is why I’m only giving it 4 out of 5. It does shed a lot of fluff in the dryer but that’s to be expected; cotton flannel does that. It also does shrink. That’s not a big problem because at 90” x 90” new it’s too big. Once it has been washed and dried a few times it’s probably closer to 80” x 80”. In terms of price, it’s a good deal for what it is. My only regret is that the material isn’t a little beefier.
